BubbleStatistics™ software combines smart design and powerful algorithms to provide statistics on bubbles size and distribution, allowing to better understand the Foaming properties and Stability properties of liquid foams.

 

Once foam images captured by the FOAMSCAN™ are uploaded in BubbleStatistics™ software, they are automatically binarized and the statistics are calculated:

• Statistics calculated per bubble: Diameter (min, max, mean), mean Radius, Perimeter, Area, Elliptical ratio, Eccentricity, Circularity

• Bubbles statistics are calculated over time: Bubble count, Density, Sauter Diameter, Bubble area, liquid area, Polydispersity index, Liquid fraction

Analysis can be fine-tuned applying classification and analysis filters. Local foam liquid fraction is calculated by image analysis which is helpful for solutions with low or no conductance.
